Samara began her training in Middle Eastern dance with Yasmina Ramsey in 1997, and later joined the Arabesque Dance Company as a lead dancer. As a graduate of Ryerson University’s dance program she is also trained in ballet, jazz, and modern dance. She has been dancing since the age of 7, and is interested in its cultural forms. She has studied tap, hip-hop, Flamenco, African dance, Latin, Azerbaijani dance, and more recently Capoeira. Samara has appeared in movies, music videos, and fashion shows. She is also a member of Tropicaliente, Bollywood Grooves and Las Gatas. She teaches dance classes from ages 3 to 83, as well as those with special needs. Her classes vary from Storydance to Flashdance, as well as Bellydance, with fusions including Dancehall and Rock and Roll. Institutes include, Arabesque Dance Academy, Flirtygirl Fitness, Roland and Romain School of Dance, Drama Way, and Superfly.
