Samara began her Bellydance training with Yasmina Ramsy in 1997, and performed with the Arabesque Dance Company as a lead dancer for 13yrs. Her bellydance training brought her to Egypt and Turkey and she continues to study with professionals. She is a graduate of Ryerson University's dance program, and is also trained in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Latin dance, Capoeira, and Flamenco.

Samara has extensive experience teaching children, adults and seniors, as well as special needs students. She has taught at elementary and high schools as well as various dance studios and gyms in and around Toronto, including Flirtygirl Fittness and Toronto Dance Salsa. Fun and original classes include StoryBallet, Bellydance Bootcamp and Fusion Bellydance. Samara aspires to help her students celebrate their own body's movements and express their own uniqueness.

Samara has appeared on film and TV, such as Toronto's Got Talent, Rich Bride Poor Bride and Bollywood Hollywood. She has performed in theatrical productions as well as Resorts in the Caribbean and other major dance events around North America.
